ABOUT THE FESTIVAL 

Short Film Festival is international festival of short films organized by Citizens’ Association ART Festival Stolac. This film review with accompanying music, art and literary programs is designed as relaxing and unpretentious meeting of film and cultural fans in general, occasions for getting together and exchange of ideas of those people who, in this time of complete state of neglect and damaged conditions of local communities, are trying to find their place in the sun. Responses after the first Festival give us right to hope for the success of our intention. Festival organizers invite all authors of short films to send us their works, and we promise that their works will certainly find place in one of the accompanying film program. We greet all our friends and partners, co-workers and guests with wide-open palm of the hand, in the same way as they will be welcomed by sufferer in love, engraved in standing tombstone on Radimlja when they enter Stolac.

The second Stolac Shor t Film Festival ended on Tuseday 8th of July 2008. Jury consisting of Ahmed Buric (BiH), Jurica Pavicic (Hrvatska), Miroslav Momcilovic (Srbija) i Mesut Y. Tufan (Turska), Andrej Nikolaidis (Crna Gora), awarded movie Edward by German director Katrin Nicklas, as the best film with GOLDEN CLOSTER OF GRAPES . SILVER CLOSTER OF GRAPES, award of the audience, went to the movie called Girls Room, directed by Marije Gigante.
