Regulations
The second short film festival, Stolac, will be held from the 4th to the 8th of july 2008. All movies done after the 1st of may 2003, have the right to participate. Only films with a maximum duration of 35 minutes can participate on the festival.
All films have to be recorded (delivered) on a DVD (PAL format). A short synopsis, the author’s biography (in English, Bosnian, Serbian or Croatian), as well as three photos from the film, should be sent in addition to the film itself. Further more, an application for the participation, which you can download on this site, should be filled and delivered with the film.
The film and the application should arrive in Stolac till the 15th of may 2008., on the festival’s address: ART Festival Stolac, Kranjčevića 55, P.O. Box 52 , 88 360 Stolac, Bosna i Herzegovina . The envelope or package must be labeled – ‘No Commercial Value’.
The author’s or producer’s signature on the application allows us to use the film, or some parts of it, as commercial material i.e. on the festival web site, addition material, media presentation etc.
The films that will participate in the competitive part of the festival will be chosen by the festival organizer. The films that the organizer has appointed as artistically and technically acceptable, but haven’t made it to the competitive part of the festival, will be shown in other sections of the festival.
The festival’s crew will assure accommodation for all participants during the festival who take part, whether in the competitive section, or other sections. The festival won’t pay travel expense of the authors.
